Using Tome & Quill

Tome & Quill is a toolkit for tabletop games: a world engine, a campaign platform, a character builder and a tabletop. It is run by [Owner: name of the person or organisation]. By using it you agree to these terms. Many parts work without an account; an account lets you keep your work online and play with others.

Your content

The characters, worlds, campaigns, notes and journals you create are yours. You let us store them and show them to you and to the people you share them with in your campaigns, which is what running the service needs. We do not sell your content or use it for advertising.

Playing fair

• Do not use the service to harass other players or share content that is illegal.
• Do not try to reach other people's worlds, campaigns or accounts.
• Do not overload the service, scrape it, or get around its limits.
• Only invite people who expect to hear from you.

The 5e rules reference comes from the System Reference Document, licensed under CC-BY-4.0, through dnd5eapi.co and Open5e. Tome & Quill is not affiliated with or endorsed by the publishers of the game.

Your account

You can delete your account and its data at any time from your account page; the privacy notice says exactly what is removed. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is, while it is being built. Features can change, and things can break. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. [Owner: add the limitation of liability that applies where you operate.]
